What is it:
Relief & Recovery Pain Relieving Rub-- by Bamboo Pharmacy is specially formulated for muscles that are aching and sore from overwork and strain. This herbal rub-on oil invigorates circulation, reduces bruising, alleviates pain, and reduces swelling due to minor trauma in muscle tissue.
What concerns does it address:
- soreness in the muscles from strain & overwork
- pain and swelling from minor trauma (i.e. sprains, bruises, and sports injuries)
- simple backache
What else you might like to know:
This product contains similar ingredients to Bamboo Pharmacy brand Mobility Muscle & Joint Rub. The main difference is that the inactive ingredients of the Recovery & Relief oil are geared toward repairing the micro-tears in muscle tissue and improving circulation in the muscles to alleviate pain and speed recovery time from overwork (e.g. after a strenuous workout); the inactive ingredients of the Mobility Muscle & Joint oil, on the other hand, penetrate more deeply into the ligature in the joints to address more deeply rooted problems (while still containing the active ingredients that address pain and swelling in acute situations).
Directions for Use:
Apply generously to affected area and massage until thoroughly absorbed into skin. Repeat as necessary but not more than 4 times daily.
External use only. Do not use on wounds, irritated or damaged skin, if allergic to aspirin or other NSAIDs.
