What is it?:

    Giant Knotweed Root (Polygonum cuspidatum) is a versatile herb that invigorates the blood, clears heat and toxins from the body, and relieves pain. It can be used in a variety of different contexts to these ends: for certain kinds of menstural pain, joint pain & swelling, and pain and swelling from traumatic injuries. This herb can also be used topically to speed healing and fight infection. 

    Do not use this herb if you are pregnant.

    What is it good for:

    • sharp, stabbing abdominal pain when there is scanty/absent menses;
    • joint pain & swelling (arthritis, aches & pains)
    • address jaundice, gallstones, and damp-heat leukorrhea (i.e. color and foul odor to the discharge)
    • topically at wound sites to speed healing & fight infection

    Directions for use:

    Shake Well before each use.

    Maintenance Serving: Dissolve 1-2 droppers (1/2 tsp.) in warm water or juice 2-3 times daily.

    Augmented Serving: Take 1 full tsp. 2 to 3 times daily in warm water or juice or as directed by a qualified herbalist familiar with the use of Chinese herbs and formulas.
