What is it?:

Left Side Replenishing (Zuo Gui Tang) Herbal Tincture is a traditional Chinese herbal formula that addresses such symptoms as night sweats, hot flashes, dizziness, vertigo, and lower back ache by replenishing the cooling, nourishing fluids (yin) that become depleted by (1) the natural aging process and (2) the hustle-bustle culture we live in. When the yin (specifically Kidney yin) becomes depleted, the body tends to show signs of heating up (much as a car's engine might become overheated because the coolant level is low).

In terms of Chinese Medicine, this formula tonifies Kidney yin to subdue upward blazing fire.

What is it good for:

  • subduing signs of heat (e.g. night sweats, hot flashes, "steaming bones")
  • dizziness, vertigo, and/or tinnitus
  • achy lower back and/or achy, sore knees
  • premature hair loss
  • chronic fatigue or listlessness (both physical and emotional)

What else you might like to know:

It is important to understand that Chinese herbs work by restoring balance to the body. This means that you usually have to take an herb or a formula for a longer period of time than you would with pharmaceuticals in order to get results-- usually at least a month, and often times longer than that... it all depends on the individual and the nature of the ailment being addressed.

Traditional Chinese medicine benefits:

  • tonifies Kidney yin
  • restores balance to Kidney energy
