What is it?:
Cushing's disease, often difficult for vets to diagnose properly, is a condition caused by excess production of cortisol, often due to tumors in the pituitary or adrenal glands. Adrenal Ally: Nourish Jing is a nourishing formula which may help address some of these common signs of Cushing's disease in pets:
- abnormal hunger & thirst
- excessive panting
- excessive urination, incontinence and/or ”abnormal” accidents
- hair loss
- lethargy
- potbelly,
- skin infections
Do not use while pregnant.

It is important to understand that Chinese herbs work by restoring balance to the body. This means that you usually have to take an herb or a formula for a longer period of time than you would with pharmaceuticals in order to get results-- usually at least a month, and often times longer than that... it all depends on the individual and the nature of the ailment being addressed.
Ingredients: Prepared Rehmannia root (Rehmannia glutinosa), Chinese Yam rhizome (Dioscorea opposita), Astragalus root (Astragalus membranaceus), Burdock root (Arctium lappa), White Peony root (Paeonia lactiflora), Ophiopogon root (Ophiopogon japonicus), Cornelian Cherry fruit (Cornus officinalis), Phellodendron bark (Phellodendron amurense), Poria (Poria cocos), Alisma rhizome (Alisma orientale), Anemarrhena rhizome (Anemarrhena asphodeloides), Cinnamon twig (Cinnamomum cassia), Schisandra berry (Schisandra chinensis)
Ingredients (Pin Yin): Shu di huang, Shan yao, Huang qi, Bai shao, Mai men dong, Shan zhu yu, Huang bai, Fu ling, Ze xie, Zhi mu, Gui zhi, Wu wei zi
Other Ingredients: Filtered water, ethyl alcohol (20%)
Dry herbs are decocted at a 1:1 ratio (gm herb to ml menstruum).
General Dosage Guidelines for Pets
One dropper full equals 1/4 tsp.
- under 30lbs: half dropper, 1-3x/day
- 30 - 60 lbs: one dropper, 1 - 3x/day
- 60 - 120lbs: 1.5 droppers, 1 -3x/day
- over 120lbs: 2 droppers, 1-3x/day
