Zizyphus Decoction (Suan Zao Ren Tang) - Herbal Tincture
Size: 1 oz (w/dropper included)-- approx. 10 days supply
MADE IN USA
What is it?:
Suan Zao Ren Tang (Liquid Tincture) is a go-to formula in Chinese Medicine to help with insomnia. It does so by slowly replenishing the cooling, nourishing fluids the body needs in order to fall asleep quickly, stay asleep through the night (for the most part), and wake rested in the morning.
What is it good for:
- Insomnia (difficulty falling asleep as well as staying asleep all night)
- anxiety, palpitations and restlessness
- dizziness and vertigo
- Thirst/dry mouth
- night sweats
Traditional Chinese medicine benefits:
- Tonifies Kidney Yin
- Calms Shen
- Clears heat
What else you might like to know:
The main herb in this formula is the seed of the jujube date (Suan zao ren). In addition to replenishing yin (those cooling, nourishing fluids mentioned above), this herb also calms the Shen or Spirit)... so that's why this formula will also address anxiety, restlessness and palpitations.
You should also be aware that this is not an instant sleep aid (like melatonin or a pharmaceutical). so don't think you'll take a a couple droppers at night time and think that it will knock you out, because it won't. For Suan Zao Ren Tang to work, you have to take it for at least a couple of weeks to start seeing results-- and those results will be gradual. If it's been a month - six weeks and you don't notice any change in sleep patterns (or reduction in anxiety levels), then it's probably time to consult a trained TCM practitioner to explore your own particular pattern of imbalances so you can get better results
