What is it?:
Women's Precious (Ba Zhen Tang)- Liquid Extract is a classical TCM formula that tonifies both qi and blood. It is most commonly used for women experiencing lack of energy-related to their menstrual cycle. It is also commonly used for weakened states (post surgery, post radiation, post-partum, and after prolonged illness. Suitable for use as a general health tonic as well.

Asian Ginseng (Ren shen), White atractylodes (Bai Zhu), Poria Mushroom (Fu Ling), Prepared Rehmannia (Shu di huang), White peony root (Bai shao), Chinese Angelica root (Dang Gui), Cnidium root, (Chuan xiong), Fresh ginger root (Sheng jiang), Jujube fruit (Da zao), Honey-fried licorice root (Zhi gan cao)

This is a vary old formula (c. 1500's) that combines two of the oldest tonic formulas known to Traditional Chinese Medicine: The Four Substances (Si Wu Tang) and The Four Gentlemen (Si Ju Zi Tang).
It is important to understand that Chinese herbs work by restoring balance to the body. This means that you usually have to take an herb or a formula for a longer period of time than you would with pharmaceuticals in order to get results-- usually at least a month, and often times longer than that... it all depends on the individual and the nature of the ailment being addressed.
Directions for use:
Shake Well before each use.
Maintenance Serving: Dissolve 1-2 droppers (1/2 tsp.) in warm water or juice 2-3 times daily.
Augmented Serving: Take 1 full tsp. 2 to 3 times daily in warm water or juice or as directed by a qualified herbalist familiar with the use of Chinese herbs and formulas.
To evaporate alcohol place in hot water.
