Chuan Xin Lian (Andrographis Blend) – by Lao Wei is a version of the TCM formula Chuan Xin Lian Tang, recommended for those with cough with yellow phlegm and sore throat. This powerful antibacterial and antiviral formula features the herb andrographis (Chuan lin xian), an extremely bitter herb with an affinity to the throat. The formula itself has a pronounced cooling effect on toxic heat throughout the body and is especially indicated for when you have the kind of sore throat that “feels like razor blades” when you swallow.
