Dried Monkfruit (Luo Han Guo)Luo han guo is well-known for its ultra sweet taste. Called the immortals' fruit, it has been used for centuries as a medicinal herb to nourish the lungs and throat and help promote "longevity".

Baby Chrysanthemum (Ju Hua) - Comprising only the young buds of chrysanthemum flowers, this natural coolant for the body is great for releasing stress that you're holding onto, which allows for focus and cooling of the body. Baby chrysanthemum boasts a sweeter and more concentrated tastes compared to the common chrysanthemum.

Dried Asian Pear (Ya Li) - The health benefits of Asian pears are plentiful. They can increase the body’s yin fluid and clear heat, cooling the body. These effects particularly relate to the lung and stomach organs and meridians.

Bitter Almonds (Bei Xing Ren) - These aren’t true almonds, but the kernels of several varieties of apricot that are grown specifically for their seeds. They cannot be eaten raw but are used specifically in Chinese medicine and, after boiled, release biochemicals that clear and nourish the lungs and intestines.

Sweet Almonds (Nan Xing Ren) - Sweet almonds are larger and functionally quite similar to the western almonds we commonly find in markets. Sweet almonds are tastier, and can help brighten and moisturize the skin and hair.

Dried Longan (Long Yan Rou) - High nutritional value, full of vitamins and contains active anti-aging ingredients. Helps to promote restful sleep, replenishing blood and Qi.

Takes the mystery out of herbal tea

Drinking this tea makes me feel healthy and it tastes delicious! The information cards included in the package takes the mystery out of the ingredients, and explains exactly what each herb is. I love Chinese herbal teas but not reading Chinese always made it hard to know what to buy. This totally hit the spot!

love it!

Growing up in sg, i remember being able to very conveniently get a glass of hot herbal tea from the chinese medicinal hall when i feel like i am coming down with a sore throat... this tastes just like one of the more palatable "cooling tea" so happy to be able to make it myself at home.
