What is it?:

Asian Dandelion (Pu Gong Ying) has anti-viral and anti-bacterial properties and is often used to address such conditions as skin abscesses (with redness and swelling), breast lumps, and sore throat w/swollen glands.

Furthermore it is found in Chinese Medicine formulas that can address systemic fever and/or infection in the body (see for example Ban Lan Gen Wan) b/c it directly enters the liver channel and assists the Liver in cleaning the lymph fluid and flushing the body of the waste products that accrue when the body is fighting off sickness.

What is it good for:

  • nausea & vomiting
  • digestive complaints (see above)
  • cough (w/production of sputum)
